Wide Open Road.

 
 

Wide Open Road are a European cycling tour operator from Melbourne with a twist. They offer several yearly group tours with an emphasis on making sure the group have fun, eat the best food and enjoy the epic ride! The brief was to re-design their brand, develop some supporting product and bundle it all together in a new website whilst stepping away from the conventional approaches to this category and their competitors. To solve this problem, the proposed re-brand strongly referenced classic cycling culture, minimalist european graphics and grids, traffic signage typography and repetition of patterns. The end result is fun but sophisticated with big type in small dosages. Although the solution is visually simple, the detail is meticulous.
